I was browsing somewhere and I read

'Two Shells, two Chakrasheela, two ShivLingas, two Ganesh Idols, two Sun Idols and three Durga Idols should not be worshipped together, this invites unhappiness.'

Is this correct? and does the shiva part only hold true for the lingas or regular shiva statues aswell?

you have read this, but was there an explaination of why this is so ? And the method of worship, was it explained ? This is what we should evaluate.
