Namaste,
There was yet another shooting at Sikhs at one of their Gurudwaras in the US.

Namaste,
Yes, shameful and sad... willful ignorance gives birth to tragedy once again.
For me, this prompts some somber reflection-
It seems to be an asuric "vicious cycle" where those who are arrogant and
crave power, come to know that increasing anxiety, unease, emotional decision-making,
and divisiveness in populations, will create more opportunities
for control and manipulation... yet, since such conditioning is often subtle,
long-term, and difficult to identify while it is happening, those ultimately responsible
are often not known until enough time has passed for the game
to be perceived through the long lens of historical study.. let us hope that
our world need not suffer to such an extent that once again every heart on Earth
pleads desperately for Maa to come and slay the asuras who hold all in their terrible grip....

Vannakkam: As long as the school (Hollywood) stays in business, and the classrooms (every living room with a TV) are there, this will continue. What can you expect if that's all you see all day? It's called programming (double meaning intended) Just all so sad.
Aum Namasivaya
Sad event.
Guns & idiots don't mix.
Well, the Abrahamic God indeed sends messengers of death to kill people that he is otherwise impotent to kill on his own.Just minutes after it was reported that people had been shot at a Sikh Temple in Wisconsin, the hate mongers at Westboro Baptist Church were tweeting out: 'God Sent Another Shooter.'
Namaste
The news is now reporting he is a racial supremist and a member of a Nazi (National Socialist) party. He also was a member of a Nazi rock band.
So he believes only certain people are superior by blood. This is the mindset that results in concentration camps, repression of others, mass murder and ultimately failure of the very society and people they claim to honor and serve.
Om Namah Sivaya
I had to remind my American colleagues that Sikhs are martial people , and the causality could have been much higher , had they chosen not to fight.
One of them sent me this link :

I am also awed by the courage of the police officer , who took the bullets to stop this bigoted coward.
Namaste,
A post like this one becomes not only an avenue for bringing out frustrations with the various facets of the shooting incident, but also serves as a condolence book for everyone to write a line or two, out of respect for the fallen worshipers.
Many of the spiritually evolved, scripturally enlightened fellow Dharmis who would not kill an ant, chose to stay away from making any comments. Is it because the fallen ones did not belong to their race/ethnic group/religious sect? OR is it because our purpose is only to cling to the SD in a self-serving mode, without worrying about what happens to the natives of the land of SD? Sikhs after all, are the product of SD, have similar bhakti at the core of their religion and have sacrificed a lot for the defense of SD. Don't know why are they ignored like this? We would rather be fighting over different interpretations of some trivial factoid from an obscure scripture than spend a few minutes being remorseful. And that says a lot about how far up the the ladder of spirituality have the 'bookish talking heads' climbed .
Pranam.
